NEW BILLING SYSTEM
Over the past few months Queenslander.NET and Buzz Broadband have been implementing a new billing solution. With feedback from both staff and customers we have decided that this system does not provide the customer oriented solution we were seeking. To this end the management have discontinued this solution and are now implementing a new billing system that should allow us to provide a much higher level of customer service. The installation of this new system will have some effects on the customer portal and other billing services. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.
NEW OFFICE
Queenslander.net and Buzz Broadband are proud to announce the opening of our new office.
BUZZ BROADBAND shop 4a 12 Heidke Street Bundaberg QLD 4670. The office will open 9am 3rd July 2006, and the Call Centre will be operating from this new office comencing Sunday 2nd July and can still be contacted on 1300 88 32 32 as normal. Over the counter sales for internet access will from monday be conducted from our new office, so come down and see us there.
BANDWIDTH TESTING
There may be some interruptions to service over the next two days as our technicians perform some bandwidth testing with our upstream carrier. We apologise for the inconvenience but we hope these tests will result in faster more reliable bandwidth for our customers. If you have any questions please phone the helpdesk on 1300 88 32 32.
NEW BRAND FOR QUEENSLANDER.NET
As many of you know Queenslander.NET has merged with our new business partners Buzz Broadband. This will mean a number of changes to the helpdesk, website and branding as we move ahead. As part of our merger Queenslander.NET will become incorporated in the branding of Buzz Broadband. We have an exciting new website located at http://www.buzzbb.com and and a new bunch of services including VoIP accounts coming online later this year.

UPGRADE NEWS
Queenslander.NET and Buzz Broadband are performing a number of upgrades over the next few months. Our new email system has been online for a number of months now and is constantly being improved. Our new accounting system is in place and the kinks will be ironed out over the next few weeks.
We are also preparing to ramp up our broadband wireless services as we connect the new accounting system in. This may result in some disruptions for some users but we will keep you informed of these.
We will keep you informed as our new systems come online and look forward to sharing the benefits of the new systems with you.
